I am not going to lie if you are looking for footy trades there are not going to be many before the world cup. I know a mate of mine makes something out of the Irish Leagues during the summer he finds them easy to read on the overs and unders so for you hardcore footy tradres may want to look there. Your other option is the international friendlies, my advice if you do trade them is very much do it by your eyes react to what is happening. These matches just loke the world cup itself can be very good for time decay strategies as lots of the time there is little happening, the price often holds for long periods of time that means it must at some point catch up. Another angle i often look at it the late goals so strategies like the bore draw can be good in these friendlies. There is of course the MLS and the SA stuf but i will leave that to Kev.
My plans for the week - All i can really do is look at some afternoon stuff as my knowledge on the footy games that are on il limited. Lets get through to Friday and then the evening stuff will start to kick in again, ok on the footy front it will mean lot of friendlies but at least they are televised.
The French Open is not my favourite to trade to be honest there is something about clay court tennis that bores me, however i have had a request so this afternoon i will try and find us a match to trade. The best action (as often in majors) is on in the mornings as the tv cameras like to catch the big boys / girls which are often poor to trade. In fact i laid Watson when she went 3-0 first set at a stupid price of 1.15. We could maybe lay Murray and hope he has one of his trademark bad starts but his Russian opponent isn't up to much.
I will be in the room from around 3 to see what i can find from the tennis, the ipl or the horses.
Until later.
